Kinactif Performance is operated by Le Groupe Developium Inc., Montreal, Quebec ("Kinactif Performance", "we", "us").

We help people find a physiotherapy clinic near them. We are not a clinic and we do not provide care, diagnoses or medical advice.

3. What We Collect

We collect:

Contact details: first and last name, phone number, email address, and postal code.

Information about your request: the area of pain or injury, how long it has lasted, and your preferred availability. This is health information, which we treat as sensitive.

Technical information: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, and the advertisement that brought you to us. Tracking technologies are only activated if you accept them.

We only collect what we need to connect you with a clinic.

4. How We Collect Your Information

We collect information directly from you when you fill out a form on our website or landing page, often after clicking an advertisement on Facebook or Instagram.

We may also collect information through cookies and similar technologies, only with your consent.

5. Why We Use Your Information

We use your information:

To connect you with a physiotherapy clinic near your postal code and send them your request.

To contact you by phone, text message or email about your request.

To measure and improve our advertisements and website, only if you accepted tracking.

We do not use your information for any other purpose without your consent, unless the law allows or requires it.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Your Consent

By submitting the form and checking the consent box, you agree that we may share your request, including your health information, with one participating clinic near you.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting the person named in Section 2.

Withdrawal does not affect information that has already been shared with a clinic. For information already held by a clinic, you should contact that clinic directly.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 14. If you are under 14, a parent or guardian must submit the request.

7. Who We Share Your Information With

We may share your information with:

The participating clinic selected for you. Once the clinic receives your request, it becomes responsible for your information under its own privacy policy.

Service providers that help us operate the service. These providers are bound by confidentiality and may only use your information for that purpose.

Authorities, when the law requires it.

8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use the Meta Pixel and similar tools to measure advertisement performance.

These tools are off by default and only turn on if you accept them through our cookie banner.

We never send the details of your pain or injury to Meta or any advertising platform.

9. Storage Outside Quebec

Some of our service providers store information in the United States.

Before transferring your information outside Quebec, we assess whether it will be adequately protected and put written agreements in place.

10. How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep your information for 6 months after your last interaction with us, then destroy or anonymize it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

If you are not satisfied, you can file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
